Jonathan Nash Glynn Solo Show at Colm Rowan Fine Art in East Hampton

April 24, 2022: Over 100 people attended the opening reception of Jonathan Nash Glynn’s abstract paintings at Colm Rowan Fine Art in East Hampton, on Saturday, April 23. This was his first solo show at this three-year old gallery, located at 55 Main Street in East Hampton, in the walkway next to the Ralph Lauren barn. Art lovers milled around the gallery and into the walkway and courtyard. Among them were musician G.E. Smith and former East Hampton Town Councilman Jeff Bragman.

The show features work by Eric Dever of the Berry Campell Gallery, NYC, Kimberly Goff, Bruce Lieberman and Ann Lombardo plus rare works from The legacy Collection from Elaine Benson including Priscilla Bowden, Warren Brandt, John Day, Jimmy Ernst, Zero Mostel, Alfonso Osorio and Kathe Tanous.

August 26, 2018:  Andrea McCafferty and Kat O’Neill, Co-Directors of The White Room Gallery, 2415 Main Street, in Bridgehampton hosted the opening reception for an exciting new exhibition, “Outside the Box,” featuring Donna Bernstein, Steve Cohen, Jackie Fuchs, and Karen L Kirshner, which will be on view at The White Room Gallery through September 10th.  The piano man himself, Billy Joel turned up to support his friend, Steve Cohen, who just happens to be Billy Joel’s lighting designer as well. Steve, who has been painting with light his entire career, is a guest on Spotlight on the Arts this week chatting about his art and process. Check it out! July 13, 2019: Tulla Booth Gallery, 66 Main Street in Sag Harbor, hosted an opening reception for a photography exhibit featuring Stephen Wilkes, Roberto Dutesco, Blair Seagram, Tulla Booth, and Dan Jones. What Better way to welcome the summer than to pay homage to the element that surrounds us, water, ocean, bay, lake or pond, is full of symbolism and metaphor. Each photographer’s evocative images make you feel closer to nature. Some are slightly calmer while others are very dramatic. Either way, they’re all quite exciting.

August 23, 2018:  Stephen Wilkes’s wildly popular “Day to Night” Series are exciting images of the most beloved cities and sites of the world. As part of his on going series he wanted to capture the iconic Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles which he felt captures the essence of Southern California. Wilkes photographs from a stationary 50 foot crane. All explained on a “CBS Sunday Morning” segment Shooting 12 hours from day to night and gathering 1,200 to 1,500 image into form one image from dawn to dusk. He was recently featured in newest National Geographic Issue celebrating the 100th anniversary of the State Parks in America.  He is on a quest to complete his vision photographing for an upcoming a fine art publication. National Geographic Museum featured an exhibit earlier this year.
