September 23, 2023: HamptonsFilm announced the full slate of programming for the 2023 edition of the Hamptons International Festival (HIFF), including the Closing Night presentation of Bradley Cooper’s MAESTRO. Additional Signature Programming including “A Conversation with…” Series with Paul Simon, and the full film programming lineup including additional films to screen within the Spotlight section, Documentary and Narrative Competition titles, short film sections, as well as Signature Programs including Views From Long Island; Conflict and Resolution; and Air, Land & Sea.

Calling all dogs and cats to the 30th Annual Stroll to Sea Dog Walk.

September 24, 2023:  The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) announced that its 30th annual “Stroll to the Sea” Dog Walk, presented by The One Nine Three Group will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 9 AM to 12 PM. The event is a fun, family outing set amidst the beautiful Hamptons fall foliage with the feel of an idyllic country fair. It is intended to promote responsible dog ownership and awareness of ARF.

The Road Forward

Local Icon, Inda Eaton, will perform at The Road Forward Scholarship Fundraiser on June 10, 2023.

May 22, 2023:  Linda Eaton, a local icon and social justice activist, known for her beautiful voice will perform at a June 10th fundraiser for The Road Forward Scholarship Fund of Temple Adas Israel. The event will take place from 5—7:30pm at The Bridgehampton Community House. One of last year’s scholarship recipients, Julian Morse, a graduate of East Hampton High School, will also perform.

LongHouse hosted a conversation with Steven & William Ladd and opened their Gardens on April 30th

May 1, 2022:  Spring is here and the LongHouse Gardens in East Hampton are open and filled with new growth in every corner. Spring is the perfect moment for an invigorating visit to the magnificent 16 acre sculpture garden. Many people from the surrounding area did exactly that on April 30. Snowdrops, daffodils and hellebores take center stage in the spring as well as their earliest flowering trees, a delight on near perfect day, weatherwise.

September 11, 2021: While the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons ARF Adoption Center is under construction please join us Saturday, September 18, at Petco in the Bridgehampton Commons, 2044 Montauk Hwy, from 12 to 3 PM for the monthly Pet Food Pantry to donate or pick up cat and/or dog food. Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons breaks ground on FOREVER HOME: An expansive history making state-of-the-art building project and renovation.

May 28, 2021:  Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons hosted an historic ground-breaking for their new expansion, FOREVER HOME. The community celebration for East End animal lovers was held from 4-6pm on Saturday, May 28th at the ARF Campus 124 Daniel Hoe Road, East Hampton.  Specially trained canines dug the first hole for the dramatic new expansion.

ARF Bow Wow Meow Ball

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) will hold its Bow Wow Meow Ball on Saturday, August 17, 2019. The event will honor fashion designer and entertainer Isaac Mizrahi with the Champion of Animals Award, a loyal supporter of ARF and a compassionate friend to animals in need.  The event will take place at the ARF Adoption Center in East Hampton to celebrate Isaac’s contributions and ARF’s life saving work. Tickets start at $750 and are available online at arfhamptons.org.

May 26, 2019: On Saturday the Animal Rescue Fund hosted the annual ARF Thrift Shop Designer Show House Cocktail Party & Sale to benefit the animals at ARF. The roomlike vignettes are inspired and arranged by guest designers from ARF Thrift Shop donations and the designers’ personal collections. All items are for sale at charity prices, and 100% of all proceeds from the event go directly to support ARF’s lifesaving work. Co-Chairs were Gordon H. Hoppe, Summer Louchheim, Alex Papachristidis

The 26th Hamptons International Film Festival

The 26th Hamptons International Film Festival  announces their award winners at a ceremony in East Hampton.

October 8, 2018:  ALL GOOD “ALLES IST GUT”, directed by Eva Trobisch, won the Award for Best Narrative Feature, sponsored by Netflix. DIVIDE AND CONQUER: THE STORY OF ROGER AILES, directed by Alexis Bloom, received the Award for Best Documentary Feature, also sponsored by Netflix. FENCE “GARDHI”, directed by Lendita Zeqiraj, and GUAXUMA, directed by Nara Normande, received the Award for Best Narrative Short Film and for Best Documentary Short Film, respectively.  Both Short Films will qualify for Academy® consideration. All four films were directed by female filmmakers.
