The Longhouse Trustees and Peter OIsen hosted Celebration of Life, a garden party in memory of Jack Lenor Larsen (1927-2020)

May 16, 2021:  Peter Olsen and the Longhouse Trustees hosted Celebration of Life, a garden party in memory of Jack Lenor Larsen, the founder of LongHouse, who died last year at 93. The celebration at LongHouse featured Jack’s peak Spring garden on a glorious Saturday afternoon. 

Jack Lenor Larsen could have been a painter, an architect or a poet; he chose to be a weaver because, through textiles, he could be a painter, architect and poet all at once.  –François Mathey, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.
