The VERED GALLERY 10th Annual July Silent Art Auction will benefit the Turn the Corner Foundation, a national nonprofit Lyme disease organization dedicated to support of research, education, awareness about the disease as well as innovative treatments for it and other tick borne diseases. The silent auction begin on Friday, June 24 at 11 am. Register, bid and view lots at Vered Gallery 68 Park Place in East Hampton or online at www.veredart.com.
Over 75 works of Modern and Contemporary art will be auctioned off with special lots donated 100% to the Turn the Corner Foundation. The auctions is a rare opportunity to purchase a major work of art by the likes of Willem de kooning John Chamberlain, Chuck Close, Eric Fischl, Bill Viola, Andy
Warhol, Ray Ceasar and Raul Higuera, which are amongst those being auctioned.
The work will be view for the entire week. There was a lively Young Collector’s Preview Reception on Saturday June 25 from 9-11 pm (see photos) and today Sunday June 26 from 3-6 pm there will be a screening of the award winning documentary “Under Our Skin” with a discussion with Lyme disease medical specialists to follow. The Last Bid Closing Party is Sunday July 3, from 5-7 and is open to the public. PC
