New Supernatural Drama @ Rattlestick Playwrights Theater
The blizzard didn’t stop the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater from holding the world premiere of Ken Urban’s new drama The Correspondent, directed by Stephen Brackett of Buyer & Cellar fame, at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.
In The Correspondent a grieving husband hires a dying woman to deliver a message to his recently deceased wife in the afterlife. When he begins receiving letters describing events that only his wife could know, he must determine if the correspondence is from a con artist or actually from the beyond in Ken Urban’s new supernatural thriller. The cast features the always wonderful Thomas Jay Ryan as the distraught husband Phillip Graves, Heather Alicia Simms as the dubious Mirabel, and Jordan Geiger is the handsome mysterious young stranger.
The Correspondent opened at The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South, between West 11th and Perry Streets on February 13, 2014. The Correspondent is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 16. For Tickets call 866-811-4111 or go to www.rattlestick.org
