Summer 2022 at WHBPAC

Musical Legends, Broadway stars and Renowned Comedians including Tracy Morgan, Kenny G., Paul Anka, Keb’Mo, Kelli O’Hara, Jay Leno, Taj Mahal, Chris Isaak, Michael Feinstein, Rita, Rudner, and more are set to perform live at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center this Summer.

April 3, 2022:  An exciting and eclectic array of stars are set to perform this Summer at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC). Highlights from the May June lineup include Iconic comedian Tracy Morgan, best known for his work on 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live. He heats things up in May when he takes the stage on May 14. Kenny G promises an evening of smooth jazz on June 4th when the renowned Saxophonist and top selling instrumentalist performs.

Michael Feinstein takes the stage on August 6 and Rita Rudner, a rage in Las Vegas, will be here on September 4.  The sardonic wit and incisive social commentator David Sedaris will grace the stage on October 7th.

Paul Anka returns to WHBPAC with Sinatra, His Songs, My Songs, My Way on June 12th singing songs from a career spanning 65 years to honor a great influencer on his work, Frank Sinatra. The Brian McKnight 4 makes their debut June 18 on the Mainstage bringing classic 90’s R&B back. McKnight is a multi-instrumentalist who plays nine instruments including piano, guitar, bass, drums, percussions, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet and has sold more than 30 million albums world-wide.

Other highlights from the Summer include four- time Grammy winning Blues artist, Keb’Mo, on July 16 and Tony Winning Broadway star Kelli O’Hara on July 17. Television icon, comedian Jay Leno, known as the Hardest Working Man in Showbiz, is set for July 23, followed by international music treasure Taj Mahal on July 24.

Chris Isaak, dubbed “rockabilly’s greatest modern ambassador” by Rolling Stone hits the stage at 7:30 on July 30th.

  5.14 Tracy Morgan With a comedic style in the vein of Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy, Tracy Morgan is one of the most well-respected comedians in his field. Having cut his teeth on the stages of Caroline’s Comedy Club, the Comedy Store, and known for his roles across multiples seasons of 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live, he has received countless nominations and accolades, including a Supporting Actor Emmy Nomination and Emmy nod for Outstanding Guest Actor. 6.4 Kenny G Saxophonist and top-selling instrumentalist Kenny G rose to fame in the mid-1980’s with his signature smooth jazz sound, but he was just warming up!  He has dominated the airwaves since, selling more than 12 million copies of his album Breathless in the United States alone and winning a Grammy two years later for the track “Forever in Love”.  Not content with the music industry’s top honor, in 1997 he added a Guinness World Record to his resume for the longest note recorded on a saxophone (45 minutes and 47 seconds).  But not to worry – his performance on the WHBPAC promises to be more than just one note!  6.12 Paul Anka Anka Sings Sinatra: His Songs, My Songs, My Way Honoring a great influence on his career, Paul Anka makes his triumphant return to the WHBPAC with his tour, Anka Sings Sinatra: His Songs, My Songs, My Way.  Anka is famous for hits such as “Diana,” “Lonely Boy,” “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” and countless other well-loved tunes heard on the stage and screen over the last six decades.  7.16 Keb’ Mo’ Four-time Grammy-award winning contemporary Blues and Americana artist Keb’ Mo’ returns to WHBPAC on the heels of his latest release, Oklahoma. Hailed internationally as one of the greatest Blues artists of his generation, Keb’ Mo’ has consistently made music that reflects his own interests and passions.  7.17 Kelli O’Hara Kelli O’Hara, star of stage and screen, has established herself as one of Broadway’s greatest leading ladies with spectacular performances in The King and I, Kiss Me Kate, South Pacific, and more. She also gained recognition for her role as Katie Bonner in Topic’s hit web series The Accidental Wolf, and is currently starring on HBO’s The Gilded Age. With numerous film and television credits to her name, she was awarded the prestigious Drama League’s Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre Award in 2019. 7.29 Dave Attell Stand-up comedian Dave Attell is best known as the host of Comedy Central’s Insomniac With Dave Attell.  His caustic wit, rapid-fire delivery, and his choice of material that can best be described as “very adult,” has earned him the reputation as a “comic’s comic.” But if you ask Attell, he’d say, “I’m just trying to get some laughs and sell some drinks.” Over the years, he has built up a cult following through a relentless performance schedule and as the host of Insomniac with Dave Attell, which ran for four seasons on Comedy Central in the early 2000s.  7.30 Chris Isaak Called “rockabilly’s greatest modern ambassador” by Rolling Stone, Chris Isaak’s legendary shows with his longtime band Silvertone have entertained tens of thousands of people for over two decades. Even his hair has its own fan club. Isaak has many different musical personas: the rockabilly rebel (Dancin’,Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing, Speak Of The Devil), the brokenhearted crooner (Wicked Game,” “Somebody’s Crying), and the breezy acoustic storyteller (San Francisco Days, Two Hearts).  8.19 Village People International phenomenon’s and legendary ‘70s icons the Village People and their biggest hits “YMCA” and “Macho Man” will bring you back to the days of Studio 54 and the heyday of disco. With founder Victor Willis at the helm and backed by a full band, The Village People are one of the biggest disco acts of all time and this performance will be the ultimate dance party for all generations! 8.26 Norm Lewis Veteran Broadway, film, and television star Norm Lewis has most recently starred in Spike Lee’s critically acclaimed war drama Da 5 Bloods, and in the groundbreaking FX series, Pose.
