OUT OF THE CORNER OF YOUR EYE: HANK VIRGONA, PAUL DAVIS AND JULES FEIFFER EXHIBITION

Fans, friends and fellow artists gathered Thursday night, February 25, 2016, at Mark Borghi Gallery, 52 East 76th Street, NYC, to view the current exhibition,Out of the Corner of Your Eye, Hank Virgona, Paul Davis and Jules Feiffer, curated and hosted by Julie Keyes and Keyes Art Consulting.

The featured works include “The Subway Series,” by Hank Virgona, who continues to work everyday to capture the essence of life on NYC subways; Paul Davis’ original assemblages of his world renown illustrations, which graced the covers of magazines and theatrical posters; and selected lyrical drawings by Jules Feiffer, who is considered the most widely read satirist in the USA.

Among the many admirers who attended were fellow illustrators including American alternative cartoonist and illustrator,Peter Kuper; storyteller, social commentator and illustrator, Ed Sorel; and Jim McMullan, illustrator and designer of well-known theatrical posters.
