My Life Is A Musical Opening @ Bay Street

Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor presented the World Premiere of MY LIFE IS A MUSICAL a witty new musical by Adam Overett, directed and choreographed nicely by Marlo Hunter. She brings a winning style to her colorful staging, while her gifted energetic cast keeps the evening sparkling. The whimsical tale is about Parker, an average guy, who when he leaves his apartment in the morning hears people singing and dancing, instead of speaking to him.
Apparently no one is aware that this is happening except Parker, an accountant whose life is suddenly transformed by love and music, when his company down sizes his department sending him on the road to crunch numbers for a New York City rock band. Parker’s very human struggle to hide his predicament from the world, especially a mysterious blogger, is very endearing. When he falls in love with JT, the band’s manager and attempts to save the band by feeding the lead singer, Zach, the lyrics his life as a musical is giving him, Parker confronts surprising twists and turns that make for a perfectly delightful evening of musical theater. Don’t miss the World Premiere at Bay Street Theater on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor.
The cast stars Robert Cuccioli as Randy the blogger, Kathleen Elizabeth Monteleone as JT, Justin Matthew Sargent as Zack, and Howie Michael Smith as Parker with an ensemble featuring Wendi Bergamini , Adam Daveline, Danyel Fulton, and Brian Sills.

The outstanding band consists of Vadim Feichtner, the conductor/pianist, Charles Buonasera (Bassist), Rich Adams (Guitarist), and Ed Chiarello (Percussion)
