Martin Short Live on Stage for The Guild Hall Season Spectacular

Comedian Martin Short, a Tony and Emmy Award winning actor/ entertainer wowed a sold out audience at Guild Hall in East Hampton that included Nathan Lane, Rob Reiner, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mathew Broderick, Bob Balaban, and Alec Baldwin with his wife Hilaria. Mr. Short, who is actually 5’7" tall, delighted the sold out audience with his hilarious variety show, a 90 minute side splitting evening filled with mad cap antics, hilarious skits, zany characters, including his signature Jiminy Click, the wildly uninhibited interviewer who makes mince meat of his subjects. There were also scenes from his hit films and clips of his vintage TV appearances. Jiminy Click pulled a willing Bob Balaban out of the audience and devilishly toyed with him.

A lavish private dinner was graciously hosted by Michele and Marty Cohen at their marvelous East Hampton Village home immediately following the performance. Bob Balaban and Martin Short continued entertaining the guests. This time with Bob interviewing the ever precocious Mr. Short.
