Billy Porter Tony Award Winner for Broadway’s KINKY BOOTS hosted the 13 Annual Live Out Loud Young Trailblazers Gala at The TimesCenter on West 41st Street.
The honorees at this year’s festivities were four time Tony award winning playwright Terrence McNally, who was given the Legend Award, and Ariel Foxman, editor of InStyle , who was given the Founder’s Award. Five scholarships of $5,000 were awarded to high school seniors who exhibited remarkable leadership in their communities. The recipients were Yuneris Acosta, Justin Kilian, Darrel Persaud, William Rossi, and Michael Sakelos. A lively buffet dinner celebration and silent auction followed the awards ceremony.
