A festive opening reception for Katherine D. Crone was held at Surface Gallery at 551 West 21 Street in NYC entitled "Suspended Landscapes.

Crone’s contemplative sculptures using transparent and ephemeral imagery present a dimensional exploration of light and shadow, water, reflections, architectural details and panoramic landscapes. Captured and suspended, we are transported by these "visual journals", their colors, shapes, and kinetic composition.
