Celebrating Robert Motherwell: the East Hampton Years 1944-1952," which opened to the public the very next day. A festive dinner party at the Sagaponack Estate of Whitney Fairchild followed, where Dr. Bruce Horten was honored under tent with a glamorous design by David Monn. A successful live auction raised over $200,000 dollars for Guild Hall from works donated by the artists. Music by DJ Kiss kept patrons dancing well into the night.
