A Beautiful Day in November On the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes
NEW GEORGES in association with WOMEN’S PROJECT THEATER is presenting an inventive staging of A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes by Kate Benson and directed by Lee Sunday Evans at City Center State II.
Gerry Bamman, Mia Katigbak, Nina Hellman, Brooke Ishibashi, Heather Alicia Simms, Jessica Almasy, Christian Felix
For Kate Benson preparing a Thanksgiving Day dinner for the relatives is more like a highly charged basketball game. And although the holidays are suppose to be happy times of togetherness, the tensions that are often stirred up between relatives at this time of the year are put on sharp display in Benson’s stylized farce with a weird off centered dark comedic side.
