Harlem Legend Celebrates 85th Birthday at ACA Galleries

The Anyone Can Fly Foundation celebrated artist Faith Ringgold’s 85th birthday at their Annual Auction at ACA Galleries, 529 West 20th Street in the Chelsea gallery district on October 7. On her birthday ACFF also celebrated the memory of Aminah Robinson (1940-2015).

Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson’s (1940-2015), the Anyone Can Fly Foundation’s 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner’s artwork was on view at ACA Galleries as part of the annual action. To commemorate her, 10% of the proceeds from the sale of her work during the event will benefit the foundation. A great selection of artwork was available in the silent auction. The 12th Annual Anyone Can Fly Foundation sale and silent action was a terrific opportunity to meet Faith Ringgold while enjoying cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and great energy with some really cool people.
