ane Theater. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in conjunction with True Love Productions and The Theatre @ Boston Court are presenting the New York Premiere, which began previews on January 28 for a scheduled run through Sunday, March 29, 2015.
Victor a ruthless 1970’s fashion designer at the top of his game, manipulates three women for his own success in the world of fashion. Esme, his glamorous protégé and muse, is pushed aside when Victor enlists a Southern woman to replace Esme with hopes she will make his fashions accessible to the masses. A generation later, a woman struggling with self-loathing must fight her family demons to find her way back through the world of fashion that won’t give her plus size a second look. Skipping back and forth in time between Little Rock, Arkansas and New York City, Everything You Touch takes a witty look at the challenge to find the truth, which eludes Victor in his self centered obsession with success, demonstrates how difficult the truch can be to accept and how oftern that situations are often not what they appear to be.
