ESPA Hamptons Tea Dance
Nathan Schaefer
More than one thousand people attended the Empire State Pride Agenda’s 21st Annual Hamptons Tea Dance to celebrate major gains made in the LGBT movement for equality and justice, including the striking down of DOMA. Popular New York City DJ Lady Bunny hosted revelers under a tent on the rolling fields of the Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill. Participants enjoyed fantastic cocktails by SVEDKA, Blue Moon, and Barefoot Wines, along with fun for the entire family including a children’s play area sponsored by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.

The 2013 Tea Dance was dedicated to the late M.J. Vineburgh, a former long-time board member of the Pride Agenda, who helped create the Tea Dance and passed away suddenly last year in the prime of her life.
The Tea Dance benefits the Empire State Pride Agenda, whose work focuses on protecting all LGBT New Yorkers and our families and the passage of a statewide transgender non-discrimination law.
