Idina Menzel honored at 84th Annual Drama League Awards and Glenda Jackson wins Distinguished Performance
May 19, 2018: Glenda Jackson, who stars in the Broadway revival of Three Tall Women, won the coveted Distinguished Performance Award at the 2018 Drama League Awards, presented yesterday at the Marriott Marquis Times Square. Her award, selected from 55 nominated performances, was the highlight of the Awards Luncheon and can only be won once in a lifetime.

Angels in America – Outstanding Production of a Revival of a Broadway or Off- Broadway Play
The 84th annual ceremony, hosted by Mean Girls trio Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, and Kate Rockwell, also honored Idina Menzel with the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award. Mean Girls director Casey Nicholaw was given the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing, and the National Endowment for the Arts was acknowledged with the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.
