A spirited revival of the light hearted musical Dames at Sea opened at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor on Saturday August 15. Directed smartly by Ray Roderick the evening is a campy delight that is sure to keep audiences laughing with glee. The gifted ensemble performs the broad style of the 1968 award winning show with an abandoned merriment that is a joy to behold. Every member of the talented cast sings beautifully and they execute Shea Sullivan’s dynamic choreography with energetic enthusiasm. If you are looking for a sensational fun filled evening, Dames at Sea is a hilarious care free valentine to the Hollywood musicals of the 1930 that makes for a perfect summer entertainment.  The show runs through September 6, 2009.
