April 9, 2024:  Southampton Arts Center and Hamptons Doc Fest greet Spring with DOCS EQUINOX, a 4-film festival on April 12, 13, & 14 at SAC 25, Jobs Lane in Southampton. The compelling films will kick off Earth Day week with tasty food, wine receptions, engaging speakers and authors, and participation by food and farmland advocates.  The films are FOOD, INC 2. Back for Seconds, COMMON GROUND, THE SOUL OF A FARMER, and KELP.  Adult tickets are $20 a day or a 3-day pass for $50/SAC Members $40.

Hampton Classic

Bluman reclaims the Title in the $425,000 Longines Hampton Classic Grand Prix 5* Grand Prix on Sunday, the final day of the annual Hampton Classic Horse Show. Nassar won the $78,000 Hampton Classic 2* Grand Prix.

September 3, 2023:  The final day of the Hampton Classic Horse show was spectacular and with perfect weather. The event featured the best entries in the history of the classic.  Only two horse-and-rider combinations made it to the jump-off of the $425,000 Longines Hampton Classic 5* Grand Prix on Sunday: 2018 World Equestrian Games Team Gold medalist Adrienne Sternlicht (USA) and two-time Olympic veteran Daniel Bluman (ISR).

September 4, 2022– Of the 30 horse-and-rider combinations representing nine countries in Sunday’s culminating $410,000 Hampton Classic 5* Grand Prix and nine pairs to make the jump-off, only five went double-clear over Alan Wade’s (IRL) 17-effort, 1.60m course. Last to go in both rounds was American Karl Cook, who returned with his Grand Prix Qualifier mount, Kalinka Van’t Zorgvliet, to stop the clock in 36.710 seconds and secure his second victory at the Hampton Classic.

May 10, 2021:  The final segment for Bay Street Theater’s Storytime will be Julie Andrews and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton, co-authors of the children’s book, Simeon’s Gift. The reading is the final Zoom segment for Storytime, an eight-part online program of children’s book readings by authors from the East End and New York. The series is an interactive and engaging experience, where children and their families can enjoy live readings. Julie and Emma will read Simeon’s Gift, their most recent children’s book, during a Zoom session on Saturday, May 15th @ 10:30 am. A Q&A will follow.
