February 10, 2013: Bunnicula, a clever new musical for children of all ages by the legendary actor/playwright Charles Busch, opened at the DR2 Theatre in the heart of Union Square. With music by Sam Davis and adorable lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Mark Waldrop the show is billed as "A Rabbit tale of musical mystery" and is presented by DR2 Kids Theatre (Daryl Roth Producer) and Theatreworks USA, the nation’s leading not-for-profit professional theatre for young audiences. Based on the award winning children’s book series by Deborah and James Howe the show directed by longtime Busch collaborator Carl Andress is a zany briskly moving 65minute delight.
