Siegel Entertainment’s Broadway Ballyhoo Returns for Weekly Run at Laurie Beechman

After much too long an absence for late-night New Yorkers looking for stellar entertainment, Scott Siegel’s Broadway Ballyhoo returns July 24th, for weekly Wednesday shows at 10:30 P.M. at the Laurie Beechman [downstairs cabaret, West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd Street, just west of Ninth Avenue]. The show is headlined by an array of Broadway and cabaret talent weekly. Siegel, creator/host of the acclaimed Broadway by the Year series at Town Hall, hosts. Siegel Entertainment is producer. Ian Herman is music director.

Two-time Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter and Maxine Linehan are this week’s headliners, along with Siegel’s always-robust surprise guests.

Singer/director Coulter has become a BBTY fav when he’s not in performance touring the globe. Linehan toured with LCT’s South Pacific and, last season, performed William Luce’s one-woman show Brontë: A Portrait of Charlotte Off Broadway.

Among artists set for the following weeks are the Anderson Twins, Christine Lavin, Karen Murphy, Mark Nadler, and Steve Ross.
