ADAA THE ART SHOW
The Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) presented its 27th edition from March 4 – 8, 2015 at the Park Avenue Armory located at 643 Park Avenue (at 67th St.), New York, NY 10065. Gallery presentations feature thoughtfully curated solo, two-person, and thematic exhibitions by 72 leading art dealers.

Known for presenting a high-quality show that rivals The Armory, for 2015 expect to find solo shows of work by Jane Freilicher (Tibor de Nagy Gallery); Tracey Emin (Lehmann Maupin); Jim Dine (Pace Gallery); Sam Francis (Manny Silverman Gallery); Alice Aycock (Fredric Snitzer Gallery); Wade Guyton (Petzel) and more.

Group exhibitions focus on German Expressionists (Galerie St. Etienne), Masterworks of Egg Tempera (ACA Galleries), Latin Americas Abroad in the Sixties (Adler & Conkright Fine Art), Hard-Edge Abstraction at Mid Century (Valerie Carberry Gallery), James Abbott McNeill Whistler and Artists Influenced by Him (Thomas Colville Fine Art) and more.
A Gala Preview was held to benefit the Henry Street Settlement (Tickets range from $175 to $2,000). The fair opens tomorrow to the public. Fair hours are March 4 to 6 from noon to 8 p.m.; March 7 from noon to 7 p.m. and March 8 from noon to 5 p.m.

THE ARMORY SHOW
The Armory show’s 17th edition, bigger, more fabulous than ever, returned to its tried and true location of Pier 92 and 94. The fair runs from March 5-8. Important contemporary and modern art, lots of walking and programming designed to provide insight into the changing contemporary art scene–especially in the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean. (MENAM Symposium "The Way Things Can Go" takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
The Armory Show presented its 17th edition from March 5 – 8, 2015 at Piers 92 & 94 in the Passenger Ship Terminals in New York City. Opening Day will take place on March 4 for invited guests. Modern Art is presented in Pier 92 and Contemporary Art is presented in Pier 94. The fair is open daily from noon to 7 p.m.

One day admission is $30 for students and seniors and $45 for adults; $80 for Run of Show. One Day Combination Pass for Armory + Volta NY is $60. VOLTA NY will be presented at Pier 90 (new for 2015).

ART ON PAPER ART FAIR
FIRST VIEW-OPENING NIGHT
Art on Paper presents its first edition (and it’s fun, chocked with ‘good stuff’) from March 5 – 8, 2015 at Pier 26. A Preview benefitting the Brooklyn Museum takes place on March 5 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. A VIP Party takes place on March 5 from 8 to 10 p.m. The fair will present around XX galleries with art involved with paper as far as the eye can see. Expect to find Modern and Contemporary art. Should be interesting. Presented by producers of Miami Project and Art Market Hamptons (now Market Art + Design).

Art on Paper is open March 6 – 7 from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. and on March 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for a one-day pass. A Fair Pass is $50 and includes admission to the Opening Night Party and all public fair hours. A Preview VIP Pass is $150 and includes the Preview, the Opening Night Party, all public fair hours and VIP Lounge access.
