May 7, 2018: The 33rd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement of Off-Broadway were awarded in 19 categories at NYU Skirball Center. Hosted by Laura Benanti and Jason Jones, the Off-Broadway League event served as a benefit for The Actors Fund. Eve Ensler was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Michael Freidman will be posthumously inducted onto the famed Playwrights’ Sidewalk in front of the Lucille Lortel Theatre on Christopher Street. WP Theater will be awarded as an institution for their Outstanding Body of Work.
