2013 Theater Hall of Fame Inductees Named:
By: Ellis Nassour

The Theater Hall of Fame announced that the 2013 inductees into the Theater Hall of Fame are Cherry Jones, Ellen Burstyn, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, set designer (and founder of the National Theater for the Deaf), director Lynne Meadow, director George C. Wolfe, and director Jerry Zaks. Playwright Lorraine Hansberry will be named posthumously.
The 43rd annual Theater Hall of fame ceremony will be presented Monday, January 27 at the Gershwin, where the Hall of Fame is located in the lobby rotunda. Executive producer is Terry Hodge Taylor.
Sadly, and once again, the members of the American Theater Critics Association and members of the Hall of Fame who vote for the annual inductees have failed to honor the late actors George Rose and Larry Kert for posthumous induction.
