Mitchell’s celebrated career onstage and screen spans 10 Broadway productions – including Shuffle Along. Ragtime, Man of La Mancha and Kiss Me Kate, the last of which earned him not only a Tony but also a Drama Desk Award for Best Actor in
a Musical. He was a 2016 recipient of the special 2016 Isabelle Stevenson
Tony Award. Since 2004, Mitchell is the elected c
hairman of the Board of  the Actors Fund of America.

Here’s how “the rabbit’ works: No rehearsal. No director. No set. No spoilers. There’s A different performer each Monday. They’re handed the script for the first time as they step onstage. The play is described as “alive and kicking theater.”

Nathan Lane premiered in the Off Broadway launch. Next onstage to take the challenge will be Tony nominee Micah Stock (December 5) and star of USA Networks’ Psych James Roday (December 12).

Tickets for White Rabbit Red Rabbit are available
via Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.  Portions of the play’s
profits go to PEN International, the world’s leading association of writers working to promote literature and defend freedom of expression around the world (
