Siba, a standard poodle, wins best in show at the 144th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
February 12, 2020: On Tuesday evening the super bowl of dog shows took place at Madison Square Garden, where Siba, a standard poodle, was crowned best in show at the 144th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. After the preliminary breed judging, which took place a Pier 94, the event moved to the Garden on Monday and Tuesday evenings, where the winners competed in seven different groups, hound, toy, non-sporting, herding, sporting, working, and terrier groups. The winner of each group competed for best in show, where Siba, a gorgeous all black standard poodle, strutted to the title besting the runner-up, a whippet named Bourbon.
Other winners of the individual groups over the two nights at the Garden where: Conrad, a Shetland sheepdog, in the herding group, Daniel, a golden retriever, in the sporting group, Wilma, a boxer, in the working group, Bona, a havanese in the toy group, and Vinny, a wire haired fox terrier, in the terrier group.

The National Anthem was sung by opera star, Angel Blue.
