Yes, Virginia, the title of this holiday-themed benefit is a play on the name  "Carolyn" — as in going a caroling during the Yuletide season. There’s even affordable entertainment – and an opportunity to be a sponsor of keeping nightlife alive. Carolyn Montgomery-Forant, a Nightlife champion and Nightlife Award winner, is hosting Christmas Carolyn, a one-night-only fundraiser jammed with Broadway and cabaret favorites on December 22 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at 7 P.M. for Scott Siegel Entertainment’s Broadway Unplugged and the annual Nightlife Awards.

The roster of artists no doubt singing every holiday tune imaginable includes Tony and Drama Desk winner Beth Leavel, Tony and DD winner actor/director Bill Irwin [who can currently be heard in the space epic Interstellar], two-time DD nominee [Mamma Mia, Carnival revival] and 10-time MAC and two-time Bistro Award winner Karen Mason, two-time Tony nominee actor/composer Bob Stillman [Urban Cowboy, Dirty Blonde; and currently standing by for several roles in It’s Only a Play], two-time Drama Desk-nominee Mark Nadler, two-time Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter, Nightlife Award winner Julie Reyburn, actor/producer Kevin Spirtas [famously Hugh Jackman’s stand-by in The Boy from Oz], singer/director Eric Michael Gillett, and singer Shaina Taub.

Tickets are $30, $50, and premium $75. To book, call (212) 695-6909. Those supporting this concert will be listed in the program for January 26’s Broadway Unplugged at Town Hall.
