Broadway legends and rising stars gave their all for "Broadway Backwards 4," a benefit for the LGBT Center.

 

 

 

 

Some of the highlights of this marvelous evening at The American Airlines Theater were Alan Cumming doing "Rainbow High" from "Evita", Whoopi Goldberg and company doing "Gee, Officer Krupke" from West Side Story, Aaron Lazar singing "On My Own" from "Les Miserables", Cheyene Jackson and Sandra Bernhard performing ‘You’re The Top" from "Anything Goes" , Jose Llana, Chistopher Sieber and John Tartaglia sinigng "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" from "Fiddler on the Roof", Florence Henderson who turned 75 singing :There is Nothin’Like a Dame" from "South Pacific, and many many more were featured in the evening Robert Bartley created, directed and choreographed for a rousing one time happening hosted by Jim Caruso. The center has been a beacon of diversity and democracy for more than 25 years and over six thousand New Yorkers, pass through their doors each week.
